German bread shop, "Rosenburg"
February, 2018

Rosenburg is a bakery shop opened in Ishinazaka-cho on January 31, 2015, just three years ago.

Store's flier comment:
I hoped to bake delicious German bread through making good use of the local ingredients in Ibaraki Prefecture and, I named the shop's name Rosenburg in German(Ibaraki in Japanese) from such a thought. German bread has a heavy texture of material and fragrant flavor. And as you chew the bread well, the taste slowly spreads in your mouth. We are providing the German bread which is fascinating to eat. I hope to make the people in the area love us through baking delicious bread. We are waiting for your visit from the bottom of our heart.

On the day of the interview, we could not meet the owner because he was in poor physical condition. According to the staff of the shop, German bread seems to accommodate various arrangements though it is plain not gorgeous. There seems to be many customers, as the shop is baking bread so as to suit their taste. It is good for you to stop by at the shop when you go out to the Ishinazaka area.
