CORIN (Bakery at Naka Narusawa-Cho)
August, 2016

There is a small bakery named CORIN near the bus stop of "Uenouchi" along the Route 6. The bakery opens only on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but the breads are popular and are often sold out before noon. Hyotan interviewed Ms Keiko Ogawa, the owner of CORIN.
On the day of the interview, Ms Ogawa offered the editor "Egg Bread", "Cheese Croissant", "White bean-jam bun ", "Chocolate Chip Scorn" and "Greenish brown muffin". The top sales breads are croissants, especially of the chocolate taste. CORIN makes the bread dough of the croissants all by hand, and it is the secret of the popularity.
Ms Ogawa opened CORIN on April 15th, 2013. She studied bread making in a class in Tokyo, and worked for a bakery in Tochigi, her hometown. But basically, she self taught the skill at home. As the ingredients, she uses flour made in Japan and those good for health. She tenderly produces the breads so that the products make customers happy. The customers are varieties of ages from small children to the seniors.

Ms Ogawa's dream for the future is to open a shop that will be the meeting place of the people around the area. The expression of the face of Ms Ogawa was so lively that it made the Hyotan Editor want to cheer her up. We hope that the readers of report will encounter with the breads and sweets of CORIN.
