Technical features Both metallic molds and forged parts are performed in their own factory through the whole processes from designing via manufacturing to inspection, satisfying customers in quality, performance, and time of delivery. The most dominant feature of their products is that they are of mass-produced items specializing in elemental devices for automotive parts. Most of all, the flat commutator made of copper-silver alloy was patented in 1993 for its manufacturing method and is awarded the Incentive Prize as the developer of an industrial technology by Ibaraki Prefecture SMEPPC and awarded the Technology Incentive Prize by the Mechanical Technology Promotional Organization of the former Ministry of International Trade and Industry. As for oil hydraulic presses, an oil hydraulic mechanism was patented as a result of joint application with Hitachi, Ltd. and awarded the Invention Grand Prize in 1991. @ |
|
Miscellaneous There are four makers of cold forged products including Kawamura Seisakusho Ltd. in Hitachi City, but they are not in rivalry because of difference in areas and uses of their products. One of the makers is using the oil hydraulic presses made by Kawamura Ltd. The main Factory is specializing in metallic mold and others concerned, and Tokai Factory in automotive parts. The ratio of dependence upon Hitachi Ltd. is reduced at relatively early stage of the history and the market has been diversified. The welfare of employees is not active as a whole company. There are no overseas trainees who were once received occasionally. Noise and vibration are cared about, as surrounding areas of the Main Factory is now becoming a residential area. @ |
