History of the company Present chairman, president, and executive director founded the company to produce gears in 1964(Syowa39), and developed to be an established manufacturer of fine machine products. It started business to Hitachi, Ltd. and its group factories ,then enlarged its business to Japanese and China and Malaysia industries. Right now it does not intend to have manufacturing shops in foreign countries. Now it has four shops, and has 145 employees (2007, March) |

Main typical products Gears and associated products are major components .They are for electrical tools, cars, oil pressure units, and small engines industries. Gears, shafts, spindles, pinions, crankshafts, and forged helical planetary reduction gearing form typical products. |

Technical features of the company Kadowaki can cover all processes of fabrication from forging of blanks, machining by NC lathes, cutting gears, and grinding at its shops. It also fabricates production tools in their shops. It has unique technical know-how to cut internal gears ,and it developed a “helical planetary reduction gear” by its high and fine engineering capabilities. The reduction gear made it possible to have gearing with relatively low noise level .It won the Ibaraki Award for Good Products 2006. |

Reporter's note It seems that medium size shops stood in fields at the site of Kadowaki in 1966 when it was set up. Now the area is a congested housing spaces . The shop has many employees with closely arranged machines .They are in good conditions to work for production. Female workers do much of the production lines and it looks that the workforce is young and fresh . A wide and big display shows the on-going fabrication jobs with the project status ,directly connected to the shop management DB machines. Test and inspection DB are stored in machines set at the QA room. It shows good QA system of Kadowaki. Kadowaki attaches importance to employee -to -company relations and employee friendship. Four events are planned for all employees a year. Such as cherry blossom festival and bus trips are welcome by all. |
