My city home in Egypt is Aswan. It is located about 1000 km South of Cairo, Egypt. There are numerous tourists from all over the world, coming to my city home for enjoyable especially in winter season. The temperatures there of about 20 to 25 degrees centigrade in winter, and 38 to 45 degrees centigrade in summer with low humidity of about zero. |

| First Time: I came on 1999 for studying Doctoral degree at Okayama University. I got the Doctoral degree on September 2002, Japan. |

| Second Time: I came on 2007 as Post Doctor Fellow up Researcher (short-period) at Ibaraki University, Hitachi, Japan. |

My family (The Wife and Two Kids) like Japan extraordinarily greatly. The first child is Mostafa Mahmoud Abo El-Wafa and his age is 9 Years and born in Aswan-Egypt (The First Love Country). |

| The second child is Mohamed Mahmoud Abo El-Wafa and his age is 6 Years and born in Okayama-Japan (The Second Love Country). Every day, he talks about Okayama and likes to visit Okayama (his born city) extremely greatly. | |
| Our impression
was very good about Japan. Japanese are
honest, kind, laborious, and devoted to their duties and responsibilities.
Japan is a very safe country. Rule of law are equal for everybody which
impressed me a lot. Gents and ladies are also treated equally in every
spheres of Japanese society. Finally I would like to say that Japan is a very attractive country of the world. |

| Interviewer's Note March 4, 2008 Hyotan Group was granted interview with Dr.Mahmoud and his family members at Hitachitaga Civic Hall, Interview with family members from abroad was an exceptional event to the group. Dr. Mahmoud is a post doctor fellow researcher at the Department of Urban and Civil Engineering , Ibaraki University. His research is concrete material construction science. Madam Marwa Fayez Yousef teaches their sons at home in Hitachi-shi, mathematics, English, and Arabic language(mother language in Egypt). They enjoy together with various programmes through Internet. Mastafa Mahmoud Abo El-wafa, the elder son and Mohamed Mahmoud Abo El-wafa, the younger son enjoyed drafting pictures on a white board at the meeting room while their parents were talking for the interview. Dr. Mahmoud told us on their naming of the Egyptians. They consist of three names, first, second and third.First name is his or her name. Second name is after his or her father’s name. Third name is grand father’s name. We hope they will enjoy their stay here for his assignment at Ibaraki University. |
